StLGS July Genealogy Meetings

Happy Almost Fourth of July! We hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday! After you put away your barbecue supplies and polish off the last of the leftovers, be sure to pull out your calendar and make note of our upcoming genealogy meetings, all indoors and air conditioned! Please don't forget that the deadline for early registration for our Salt Lake City Research Trip is today! And remember that the deadline for watching the digital recordings of the Family History Conference is Sunday, 3 August. You can still register to see them. Are you just starting family history? Or are you confused, disorganized, or frustrated? We now use more online records, but is there a best-use method? How do we find additional records? StLGS Hybrid Irish SIG Meeting

"Using Irish Naming Convention to Discover the Family of Thomas Delaney in Mid-19th Century Ireland," presented by Susan McKee; 1:00 p.m. (Central) at the StLGS office, 4 Sunnen Drive, Suite 140, Maplewood, MO 63143. Classes

No classes are scheduled for July, so our instructors can prepare for the fall schedule. In the meantime, why not catch up by watching some classes that are already recorded? Reminders:

  • Early registration for the Salt Lake City trip will end TODAY, 30 June. You can save money and help us to prepare by registering early. Information and a downloadable flyer are on our Salt Lake City trip page.

  • All seven of the digital recordings from the Family History Conference, "Artificial Intelligence and DNA: Tools for Unlocking Your Past," featuring Steve Little, Jim Brewster, and Josiah Schmidt, are still available for those who have registered for the conference. The recordings will remain online until the beginning of August, and you can still register to watch them at your leisure. All the information you need is on our Family History Conference page.
