July StLGS Meetings, Events, and More!

Happy Fourth of July! We hope you have had a good holiday weekend, have stayed cool and dry, and celebrated the birth of our country safely and happily. Now that the holiday is over and summer is in full swing, we also hope you will make some time for attending some upcoming genealogy meetings. Our monthly meeting will be hybrid; you can attend in person at our office or via Zoom. However, the Irish Special Interest Group meeting this month will be via Zoom only. We are also announcing the Fall Speaker Series, now open for registration, and a new membership category for young people. Read on for more!

Upcoming StLGS Hybrid Classes

Classes for StLGS members are now hybrid. You may attend in-person at our office in Maplewood or via Zoom. Check out the website to register for upcoming classes. Classes are currently only open to StLGS members, so why not join StLGS to get free access to our live and recorded classes!

New StLGS Youth Membership Category

Do you know a young person interested in genealogy? The future of our society as well as other genealogy and history-based groups is with the next generation, and now, as we all are facing rising prices and the need to budget more carefully, we are introducing a reduced-rate youth membership category for those under the age of twenty-five. So if you have a teenager or young adult in your life with an interest in genealogy, there has never been a better time to join StLGS. For just $25.00 per year, we welcome young people to become members, take classes, watch recorded classes and meetings, and learn from our talented lecturers and teachers. More information and a link to our secure online store is on the Membership page on our website.
