September Genealogy Meetings and Events

Happy Labor Day! It's unofficially the end of summer, but we still have plans for weeks of pleasant weather ahead, just right for getting out and attending some genealogy meetings. So, we hope to see you in September for our monthly meeting, our German SIG meeting, and our special workshop on artificial intelligence at the end of the month. Read on for all the details.

September StLGS Hybrid Monthly Meeting

Saturday, 13 September 2025

"What Did They Die From" presented by Ilene Murray; 10:00 a.m. (Central) at the Clark Family Branch, St. Louis County Library, 1640 South Lindbergh Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63131; free, open to all.

Most of us have used death records of one kind or another, but sometimes what we see on them is baffling. Vague causes of death were labels for what we now know are serious medical conditions. Join us as we explore some of the illnesses our ancestors suffered and how the "cures" may have made bad situations worse!

More details and instructions for registering are on the Monthly Meeting page on our website.
